The single most important part of your email is the subject line.
If someone never opens your email, then they will never see it.
The subject line sells the open, but it doesn't sell the product.

Personalize your Subject Line
Use their first name in the subject line.
The more personalized and catered it is, the more your subscriber will look forward to open the email.
This also includes personalizing the content of the email.
Everyone has different needs, so cater to them differently.
If they like roses, don't send them a catalog of daisies.
Send them an email talking about how you have the best roses in the world.
Curiosity is King
Everyone is naturally curious. It's a part of our human nature.
By asking a question in your subject line, the customer will be curious to see what the answer is.
Ex: Do you make these mistakes in your hair routine?
Imagine if there is a fire in a building...
Your urge is to run as quickly as possible right?
Creating a sense of urgency for your client.
This could be a simple flash sale that ends within the next hour. You don't want to use these often because you end up creating a bad list. You don't want to ruin the relationship you have with your subscribers.
Ex: [LIMITED TIME] Shorts are now 50% off
This doesn't have to do anything with your subject line, but segmenting your list has an enormous impact on driving your open rate through the roof.
At the end of the day, its about segment your list based on their interests, engagement, demographics, etc.
It becomes easier when you know what segment you are sending too, that way you can create subject lines that entice the user you're sending too.
